The Conservative team in Carterton are looking to build a new modern pavilion with toilet facilities including a changing room with full accessibility.
The new facility will be built to modern standards and conform to all updated building regulations. It will be easily accessed from the adjacent car park for those that have mobility issues.
It will have full sized changing facilities with showers for both home & away teams (adult & children.) This will encourage more use of the pitch.
It will have a small kitchen area with a hatch that can be used by all community groups to help raise funds for their own clubs. There will also be a space in the middle for groups to meet or for inside use in bad weather.
All toilets will be accessible from the outside of the building, so can be used at all times even when the pavilion is not open. By moving the new building to the new location nearer the children’s play park the toilets will be of benefit to families that currently have to leave the park to find toilets.
More seating will be provided around the pavilion for people to enjoy watching football or the children playing in the park.
