Tour of House and Gardens of Rousham Hall. From 10am. Tickets cost £20.
The house was built in 1635 and remodelled by William Kent, the garden was also designed by Kent
and remains almost as Kent left it, one of the few gardens of this date to have escaped alteration.
Transport: Bring your own car or let us know if you require transport and we will put you in touch with someone else who lives near you and is willing to provide transport for you.
Sensible footwear is recommended for the garden tour, which is hilly, and may be difficult for those with walking problems.
After the tour, everyone is invited to the Red Lion pub in Steeple Aston for a self-funded lunch. Please let us know if you wish to take up this opportunity, as we need to book enough places in the pub.
